THE BACKCOUNTRY EXPERIENCE

As we are a remote & rustic resort, you are encouraged to be self-sufficient and bring your culinary delights with you.  All supplies are limited, especially in winter where supplies are hauled-in via snowmobile.

BURGDORF CAFÉ ~  A BACKCOUNTRY SNACK BAR

For your convenience, Burgdorf has a very small café-style snack bar where you can enjoy locally roasted coffee & baked goods & treats.  We can toss in a hand-crafted Pizza from Crusty’s or grill up a burger or brat for you while our kitchen is open from 11am-6pm.  We also have all kinds of snacks, candy bars, soda pop & warm beverages to enjoy as well.  We feature local, organic goods wherever available.

Please call ahead for large groups.

Please Pack Out what you Pack-in.

Please note that Mon., Tues., & Wed’s are days we tend to work on outdoor projects with limited services available.  Please let us know in advance or contact us via radio for services.

NEARBY LOCAL TAVERN ~ the SECESH STAGESTOP

The Secesh Stagestop is the closest place outside of Burgdorf to get a beer, bite to eat, watch a game and have a good time.  This local tavern is just 7 miles away and is welcoming, fun and sure to entertain!  Open everyday.   Call for hours   208.636.4498   https://www.facebook.com/Secesh-Stage-Stop-616966271719948/

WATER

Our natural spring water is  delicious(!) and flows free to customers, please help us stay green and bring your own water bottles and jugs.

ADULT BEVERAGES

We do not serve beer, wine or alcohol at this time but you ARE welcome to bring your own beverages (No glass in the pool area but any non-breakable containers okay). Please pack out all trash & recyclables.

CABIN GUESTS

Your rustic cabin has no kitchen facilities and is best enjoyed with Camping-style cooking arrangements.  You will have a woodstove which is suitable for simply warming up food but please don’t cook on your woodstove (they are unpredictable, are a fire hazard and waste wood when attempting to cook).

You will have a table & chairs and surface area for prepping and eating.   Most cabins have a porch suitable for setting a camp stove (recommended).

WE RECOMMEND…..

  • Keeping it Simple!  Consider picnic-style meals and pre-made meals to warm up in one pot work great!  You are on vacation, save the work & dishes for home!
  • Consider bringing a Camp-style cook stove (Coleman propane stove works best) and cooking on the porch.
  • Venturing to the Secesh Stagestop for fun!

WE PROUDLY SERVE LOCAL FAVORITES….

Crusty’s Pizza  (thin crusted pizza)

Stacey Cakes (yummy baked goods)

McCall Coffee Roasters (and their dark, organic roasts)
