Welcome to Burgdorf Hot Springs

Hello and Welcome!

Burgdorf Hot Springs is a rustic, historic resort nestled in the mountains of the Payette National Forest in central Idaho, 32 miles north of McCall.

We will open December 17th 2022. This is  by prior reservation only. Please click the “Book Now” button on your screen to make reservations up to 90 days in advance.

During the Winter (December-April), access is available by snowmobiles only. however in the Summer (June-October) we can be accessed by car via Warren Wagon Road. Please visit our Prepare page for a list of local snowmobile rentals.

We are closed for short periods in late Fall (November) and early Spring (May) due to limited access.

We look forward to seeing you!

For further information, please see our FAQ page.

Soak

There are three historic log sided pools with graveled bottoms. The two small pools at the source of the spring are 113°F, while the larger pool averages 96-113°F, depending on the season. A partitioned shallow pool has been built for the little ones, though children must be accompanied and supervised by parents at all times. Please check with your physician if you have medical conditions for advice as to whether or not it is safe for you to immerse in hot water.

Stay

Burgdorf offers rustic cabins by reservation. They are all special and boast their own unique history. All cabins are without running water and electricity, so please be prepared to “camp inside a cabin”. Renewable lighting is furnished. The smaller cabins have either a double or a queen bed and sleep 2 people while the largest cabins sleep up to 6 people.

Prepare

Our cabins at Burgdorf are simple and rustic. Remember they are sparsely furnished log cabins, so you need to come prepared.  The cabins do not have electricity or water.  Outhouses are close by and firewood is on the porch.
